In one week I will be on my way to the one place on earth I have always wanted to visit but never thought I would. I'm going "Down Under" to meet-up with mom and dad and bring them home from their mission. I have been planning and talking about this trip for so long that I don't think I have let it sink in that it is really going to happen. It is becoming more real as the day approaches. I am so excited!!! I am not really looking forward to the nearly day-long flight. I will layover in Melbourne and meet mom and dad in Adelaide. After a few days in Adelaide, we will drive up to the middle of the country to Alice Springs stopping on the way in Coober Pedy (google it) and Ayers Rock (Uluru). We will then fly to Cairns (Port Douglas) to explore the tropical side of Australia (Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest). Maybe I'll wrangle a croc! (Ya right!) I wish I could take ya'll with me. Thanks for all of your well-wishes. I'll bring back lots of pics (but will try not to bore you with them). Until next time...

Okay, okay, I'm happy for you...(sigh) I REALLY wish we could go! I'll be stuck here working on statistics and physics...bleck. Have a good trip! Catch me a kangaroo! (a little one, our house isn't that big :)
